About the place
Hidden in the lush mountains of Puerto Plata, Damajagua National Park is home to one of the Dominican Republic’s most breathtaking natural wonders: the 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua. This unique park offers an unforgettable adventure through crystal-clear pools, natural slides, and cascading waterfalls surrounded by tropical forest.
Itinerary
The adventure begins as we arrive at the base of the 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua. After gearing up and meeting our local guide, we set off on a 40-minute hike through lush tropical forest, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
Next, we get ready to soar through the treetops on an exhilarating zipline adventure, feeling the rush of adrenaline as we glide over the jungle canopy. The thrill continues as we begin canyoning the 5 waterfalls! We jump, slide, and swim through a series of crystal-clear cascades and natural pools, each one offering its own unforgettable challenge and splash of excitement.
After the adventure, we take a relaxed walk back to the base, where a delicious traditional Dominican lunch awaits, the perfect way to refuel.
Then we drive back home happy, carrying the memories of one of the most exciting natural experiences in the Dominican Republic.
